Bush calls for a "Fair and Balanced" judicial system, concerning lawsuits.
Then he repeated, with emphasis, the "Fair and Balanced" slogan. This was at his "Economic Summit", on CNBC, C-Span, and other networks now.

2. Good thing Faux tried to sue already, and lost
otherwise they might have to sue Bush.

Ya know, why don't we just get rid of the courts and let Fox "News" decide every issue?

4. At least he didn't say "holy war" in the statement
Cut him some slack.

He could have raised his hands like those Jesus freaks on TV when they are getting the direct channel from Swaggart's connection with the Big Guy. He could have spoken in tongues. He could have called the Democrats devil-worshipping sinners. He could have acted like he performed a miracle by healing some little sick kid in the audience.

He didn't...I'm glad Rove told him not to do that this time.

I tried that after 9-11-01, and look what he did with it. Never again.

8. Perhaps you missed my sarcasm...

The only slack I would cut him would be to loosen the noose around his neck a little if he were in a parallel universe where he could get hanged for treason.

One can dream...

he chose not to. That's a good boy, W. We appreciate it.

And, no, I never cut him an inch of "slack" and I was right not to.

7. His speech isn't over yet. He'll be mentioning God more toward the end.
And of course he'll end with, "God Bless America!"

10. I listened for a few seconds, but never heard him mention,
the fact that there is no effective Government health care in this country so if you do get hurt you have to get enough cash out of the offender to last a life time. * did harp on the disadvantage to business here in the US because awards were high and so insurance is high. Most other industrialized nations have universal health care so his argument is a lot of road apple to orange blossom comparisons.

That is what happens when you value money more than human life.
