8. I love Reich I'd vote for him for Pres. As far as NAFTA as I recall
he said that free trade was the way of the future. Machinery and stuff could change borders, so in order to compete we needed to have the most healthy, most well educated work force so companies would come here. However since we are not really doing much with education, and nobody is doing a damn thing to reduce health insurance costs we are not really competing.

16. Reich needs a little nudge
I agree with the previous poster. Reich is well intentioned. Not one of the "bad guys". But he really bought into, and I think still strongly supports, NAFTA.

NAFTA is "survival of the fittest" or "survival of the richest" any way you cut it. Hyper competion eventually turns the working class into robots. We can't have social justice without promoting the local economy. And everyone is not a "rocket scientist" with a mind that is comfortable racing at 300mph, you have to take care of every leg of society.

10. I would rather they embraced libaralism.
Hitler, Mussolini, and the Boob-in Chief are populists.

14. Not in the traditional sense, they're not
Populists are for the people.

Hitler, Mussolini and Shrub PRETEND they're for the people, but, in fact, were/are for themselves and anything it takes to keep the power.
