Poll question: Getting labels correct: Is bringing the troops home, moderate or liberal?
Even the troops, many of whom are Republican, want to come home now.

1. It would be great if it were moderate.
I hope it is.

2. You need one more selection in your poll:
Common Sense!

4. Conservative
You'd think the conservatives would want to conserve the lives of our volunteer and well trained armed services, but they don't seem to want to conserve much of anything but coroporate profits and the lifestyles of the wealthy, do they?

5. Conservative, if it's for isolationist or budgetary reasons.
Liberal, if it's to recongize international law and our president's failure to live up to that standard.

9. Since over 50% of the country thinks Iraq is a bad idea...
I would think, in a democracy, that would qualify as moderate to "bring 'em home". However, we're not in a democracy, evidently.

10. Un-"patriotic"
How are we supposed to wage unending global war for the profit of the plutocracy... if all the troops are here at home?

11. i'd vote sensible, but that's not on the poll....
because, since it's sensible, only the nonsensical would oppose it. makes a very big tent, for both moderates and liberals, and alienates those who... hold the wrong opinion! :D

12. It's a bi-partisan issue
for everyone but the neo-cons.

There are anti-war conservatives, moderates and liberals, crossing party lines.

Hell, I was surprised to hear even neo-con boy Bill Kristol dissing Rummy. Much as the man bugs me, I love the comment: "You go to war with the Sec. of Defense you have, not the Sec. of Defense you may want or need."

He gets a Little Clarkie point... but only one.

It must be liberal.
