2. Mind You It is the National Review

Here is a snipt of their bullshit:

>>Democratic leaders are never going to be trusted in matters of foreign policy unless they can convince Americans that they once more believe in American exceptionalism and are the proper co-custodians of values such as freedom and individual liberty.<<

Trusted by whom is my question? the red states or the world at large?

5. Dems can't be trusted in matters of foreign policy? So where are the WMD
we just HAD to invade to keep Saddam from using against us? I suppose the Moosehead Downs Democratic Ladies' Aux are the ones responsible for backing down and letting the locals take a try at capturing Osama when we had him cornered? Dems lavished attention, authority, and $$ on Chalabi? All those millions of citizens all over the world marching against the idea of a US invasion of a nation which wasn't a threat were really just pissed at Dems?

words fail

6. Heh heh
that's right, the party that gave us first amendment zones, the US PATRIOT Act, Feds requesting library records, and wants to give us national ID cards is lecturing us on "becoming co-custodians of personal freedom". As Bob Herbert said today, they've slipped from harmless fantasy to full-blown delusion.

3. Indeed. As if the right had our best interests at heart.
It's typical, though. I've seen a lot of advice to liberals from the talking heads lately. Perhaps they feel guilty. Perhaps they just want another opportunity to gloat. Perhaps they're just mouthing what they think their corporate masters want to hear. Either way, from my perspective, it's just more right wing noise.

7. Convince America
The key point in this article is the words 'convince America'.

Well, if say, oh, faux news was to be just a bit more truthful, then America would most definetly be convinced Democrats are better at preserving America.

Even just a bit more truthfull.

8. One of my favorite pieces of "advice" from them is to start doing
"religion" to try to lure in the voters.

I want to tell these people "Yeah? I want to act really bogus and fake? I might as well become a Republican then! Seems the people like it when you fake religion . . ."
