Tell Bush and the Repubs to keep their greedy hands off Social Security
There is nothing in his life, absolutely nothing, that he hasn't touched that hasn't turned to crap and disaster. Send him on a vacation to Crawford. Fly him and Laura to Tokyo. Take him hunting with Uncle Dickie....Anything. But please keep his hands off Social Security. Does anyone doubt what a mess he will leave behind? Anyone??? Freeper? Anyone?

1. There's no doubt in MY mind!
You make an excellent point: How much more damage can this man, his administration and his cronies do to this country? How many more lives stand to be ruined before he leaves office, and for decades to come?

the years of "unraveling" the damage done from 2000-08.

6. Be Pro-Labor. Say yes to SS changes.
The SS system sucks. I am a working class shmuck and my personal IRA savings from a second job grows a lot faster than my SS investment. If I am required to set aside 12% of my weekly earnings, shouldn't I have the opportunity to see it grow. Besides all that, employers will continue to make full contributions to SS system under proposed changes. (Big business apparently owns up to its interest in having another viably longterm vehicle to encourage greater worker productivity.)

8. Paid bloggers exposed
Does your IRA provide you with survivors insurance and disability insurance to take care of you and your family if you die or become disability tomorrow. Do you have a guaranteed income when you retire that will provide for your basic needs no matter how long you live. If you have an IRA investment that does all these things regardless of age or income share this miraculous investment strategy with the rest of us.

9. SS is not a savings account
what happens if you have an accident and are disabled? will you current meager account cover you for 40 years? SS will. The privatization scams all make drastic cuts in benefits to SS DI as well as retirement funds.

10. How did it grow 2000-2002?
When NASDAQ fell 75% and the Dow fell 40%. Now imagine if these were the 3 years just before your retirement. Still interested?

If you're pro-laborers, you're pro-SS and very anti bush's plan to kill SS.

Who makes the killing off bush's plan? Wall Street.

Who gets killed off bush's plan? We the People who aren't rich as Hades bushites.

How can so many people in this country be so easily duped to go against their own best interests and support the wealthiest in the country???
