One man could win as Governor of Florida and that man is......
Jimmy Buffett...

He works around the clock, he's a successful business man, a great entertainer, and one of the best weapons in the Florida Democratic Arsenal.

Don't know if he's interested but unless we take the Governor's seats in Florida and Ohio, I don't know if we'll ever win another election and Democracy will remain dead in America.

Maybe just maybe, Jimmy would be willing to save America and preserve democracy for the future....it would be the capstone of a very successful life.

Hell they already sell "Jimmy Buffett for President, Put a Real Pirate in the White House" Bumper Stickers at Margaritaville.

Let's Write Him and Ask Him DU...

How can I get in contact with Jimmy Buffett?

Write a letter and send it to the address below (it will be read by someone at the Margaritaville Store in Key West):

Jimmy Buffett c/o
Margaritaville Inc
424-A Fleming Street
Key West, FL 33040

Jimmy Buffett's Official Site: Margaritaville.com
Margaritaville Inc. telephone: (305)-296-9089
Margaritaville Store 1-800-COCOTEL

2) What is Jimmy Buffett's email address?

I do not have Jimmy's personal email addresss. You can try to send an email to info@margaritaville.com (it will be read by someone at the Margaritaville Store in Key West)

2. We have a parrothead in the family.
Last Christmas he had us all in stitches when he gave the blessing on Christmas Eve. After saying a solemn blessing about Christmas being a time to rejoice because it commemorates Christ's birth, he then picked up a champagne glass and said, "And for all us believers here's a toast for our leader, Jimmy Buffet, who was born on Christmas Day."

It was a hoot. But I'm sure it would piss off rabid Christian followers.

3. How would Buffett do in north Florida?
I had been holding out hope that Charles Barkley would return home to Alabama and save us from Roy Moore. But, alas, there is a constitutional residency requirement in the state Constitution of 7 years and Charles doesn't meet that.

4. He would sweep the Florida Panhandle.....

Not one sitting politician in Florida would dare confront him.

If he wants to be the Governor, I think it's his for the asking. Even if Jeb where able to run again he'd lose against Buffett.

I think he's really big on the environment too.
