Meet the Press on Sunday
If you read the preview, these words jump out:

Then, in our political roundtable, John Harwood of the Wall Street Journal and Robert Novak of the Chicago Sun-Times will provide insights and analysis on the new Bush Cabinet and the search for a leader of the Democratic Party.

Right-wing scumbags providing 'insight' on the Democratic Party.

Meet the Press=Meet the Whores

1. Gee. I wonder why I quit watching it.
Maybe because it, like so many other news programs are way too emotionally draining and slanted to the right. Furthermore, I don't want to be responsible for putting another penny in the pocket of that scumbag Russert.

2. And to think I used to get up to watch MTP
Until I was made aware of parent company's(GE) war profiteering. If you make all those bomber engines, they have to be used or you won't get orders for more bomber engines. Oh yeah - I really hate missing Russert hawk his book about what a regular family he comes from- makes me want to vomit for some reason.

3. Cause Tim's dad worked 2 jobs and Tim went to a Catholic school
Because of that, Tim is the moral arbiter of american journalism.

5. I agree wholeheartedly with your disdain for MTP, GE, NBC,
and Mr. Potatohead.

However, John Harwood is not a right-wing scumbag. Rather, he is the best political reporter extant, IMHO. Any analysis of his on current dem politics is certainly worth considering. I've never seen anything by him that could be considered right-wing. Have I missed something?

(Admittedly, I'd rather catch him on the transcript than surrender my eyeballs to GE.)

6. Another Harwood fan here
Everytime I saw him during the campaign, I thought his reports were totally fair, very insightful, & a real step up above the typical blathering idiots.

8. Not wanting to call "names"....
but feeling forced to....

Tim Russert is a big fat presstitute.

He reminds me of the Cheshire(sp?)Cat in Alice in Wonderland. I hope one day to see the grin wiped off his face.

Tim is an expert...... about nothing, usually talking to other "experts" of nothing. Why he has been granted to sit on the throne of "newsmaker", I will never know. A toilet would be more appropriate.
