1. lovely letter but who's it going to sway?

I sympathize with the sentiments 100% but the letter is way too long and too abstract for your average American to read let alone understand.

Anyone else who has half a clue knows better anyway and doesn't need to read this letter.

It will never convert Bush or any of the neocons.

So what's the point here?

Maybe I'm being cynical or am missing something. Would love to be enlightened if so.

I profoundly believe we're going to have to simplify our message if we hope to convince anyone. Simplicity of message is what appealed to the Bushies to begin with: black and white issues with simplistic solutions. At least that's the language used.
