Where the hell is Bev Harris?
Sorry if this has been covered. I've been mostly out of touch for the past two weeks. But I haven't heard or read anything about her efforts, where she's at, or what she's up to.

I remember that Randi Rhodes asked us to contribute to her, and I did. But as of now, I don't know whether she's in Ohio, Florida, or on Mars.

Can someone please update me?

5. Bev is probably very upset right now.
It looks like the California/Alameda case against Diebold is going to end up in a settlement. She was hoping it would not. She wanted to take Diebold to discovery. Diebold has e-mails out there that may have some incriminating evidence. Might be proof of fraud, and a stolen election for all we know, but the settlement agreement may give them a chance to cover it all up. How this can happen, I'm not sure. If there's an overriding public interest, these things should be be allowed.

I can only hope that the criminal courts are looking into it.

12. Courts don't "look into" things on their own.
They only have jurisdiction when a case is brought before them. For criminal cases a DA or AG must file criminal charges. The CA AG already declined to press criminal charges and the Alameda County DA was part of the State's suit against Diebold. Someone may take allegations of a crime and evidence to a DA but it's up to the DA whether or not to file criminal charges. It's unlikely that with a settlement on behalf of the people of the California either pending or already final on the books any California DA will pursue criminal charges on the same matter.

13. And if a Blue State won't rip this election apart, there isn't much
of a chance that a red state will do it. It's wrong to put the blame for the failure to get down to the truth on Bev, because we are climbing Mt. Everest, and we're starting from the bottom of the sea.

14. It isn't "ending up settled"
it *IS* settled as of 12/17. All evidence used from the Diebold memos is now useless and can never be used in CA again.

Diebold gets to stay in CA, no real reform has taken place.

16. No offense but I see alot of sniping from you onto other folks, but not
many ideas or information about what needs to be done and what *you* are doing.

This blurb of yours holds very little information and it seems to me that saying that these memos are "now useless" is probably not correct either.

18. Sorry, to disagree
but the suit was settled "with prejudice", which means it may not be brought up again. This is a legal reality, look it up.

If you wish to know what I am doing, do a little research.

19. I saw that you called someone up 10 days ago, who never got back to you.
Since you and Bev arnn't getting along, have you thought to talk to Mr. March about this suit?

Who?

And I wouldn't talk to Jim March if you paid me.

6. One important place she isn't but needs to be is...
Talking at Rep.Conyors hearings on voting fraud. There was really no excuse for her avoiding such important meetings.

7. I disagree.
Thank God she is not at these hearings.

Bev has done a great job of discrediting herself and everything she touches lately. This issue is better off without her for now.

8. I'm speaking from the stand point of
wanting to share all she knows. If she was really in this to help the cause of voting fraud she would have been there. She has been discredited not only by her behavior but by also refusing to participate in what is surely the most important open discussion dealing with e-voting to date.
