Republicans control MOST of the media and MOST of the voting machines.

Those who want to blame Democrats and the party for ANY of their policies this past election are feeding the Republican spin that it is Democratic positions that are to blame for losing. They spin it as too far to the left for the mainstream. The irony is that many here try to claim the Dem party is too far to the right to win elections.

Both of those positions blame Democratic policies and let the REAL culprits off the hook - the GOP spin-machine aka as mainstream media, and the GOP control of the voting machines.

Why do so many here let the media and the Republican election frauds off the hook?

Criticize Dems for not having a GRASP on the voting machine issue and for not having a network of news outlets built up to deliver their message, but, please don't feed the perception that it is Democrats and their social and economic policies that are wrong. GOPers just use that distraction to THEIR benefit and their goal which is to kill the Democratic party outright.

With all the media blaming Democratic policies the politicians will respond to that blame by trying to ajust to a mainstream view that really doesn't exist except in GOP talking points.

We have to keep up the pressure CONSTRUCTIVELY on the Dem party and point to the REAL culprits, or else they'll get away....YET AGAIN.

1. I agree that it is the right wing owned media and the right wing
owned voting machines that are making us losers. There is nothing wrong with our policies, we even have more voters than they do, but their votes don't get counted. The problem is that most of us feel so powerless over the process, people tend to look inward when they have no control outward. We desperately need powerful leaders and think tanks and rich Democrats to come forward and address these two problems. We don't even hear much from our elected officials on these topics, its as though they don't believe in them. I heard that MoveOn.org was starting talks to explore how we can get a cable news channel to counter Fox....I put my little contributions into election campaigns these last two years, but I am about to switch to support MoveOn.org, seems they are visionary and deal with facts.

deal with the reality of the media and the voting machines.

The energy being wasted on trying to redirect Dem policies toward the right or the left is just disheartening. That's a zero sum game being fueled by the GOP and its operatives in the media and on internet forums.

It takes the focus off the REAL problems and makes it harder for Dem politicians to SEE the media and voting machines as the culprits.

3. They are masters at diversion, as we study our navels
and blame our policies they are tightening their grip on the media and keeping the stolen election out of the publics view.
