What happens when we reach the "breaking point" ?
And surely that is in the minds of many military strategists and economists? What happens when the elections in Iraq are declared a disaster? What happens when we no longer have the troops to fight Bush's wars? What happens when the soldiers discover George Bush is a walking pile of bullshit?

What happens when no one will buy our Treasury notes? What happens when our debt is no longer payable? What happens when our economy hits the bottom? What happens when inflation takes hold and people lose the values in their life's savings? Who will be responsible?

2. What happens ...
What happens is that people will finally start thinking, not with their Reeptile brains, but with their rational faculties of human intelligence.

The collapse and suffering that will take place first will be ugly, like opening a Pandora's box so that people can actually see the results of what we here have been predicting... but it will require people to think differently, just as the Great Depression necessitated a whole new political and economic philosophy....

People have to go through the worse excesses of fascism to really get how bad it is. They have to suffer its consequences. That's why most of Europe is in such good shape politically, economically, and philosophically. America is lagging behind, but we'll get there... eventually.

4. Well, hopefully
they will realize this 'mommy party' and 'daddy party' disticintion is pure bullshit. And that even if Bush represents the 'daddy party', he is the father that beats you and then pisses all the money away.
