If this whole sorry mess makes them feel better about themselves--though, granted, it's a mighty expensive "group hug"--maybe we should shout an almighty "HURAAH" everytime a US soldier dies, you know, support the troops and their families by letting them know that if they feel their kid died for a good cause, then, by god, so do we.

Insane logic, I know, but that's where America's mind is for the moment. Why fight it?

Now, ask how it was that Herr Rumsfeld casually took a little stroll, outside the Pentagon, just minutes after it was hit on 9/11. Do you think he was being courageous?
