Blast from past Vintage '86 Zappa...
Edited on Mon Dec-20-04 10:25 PM by hootinholler
Found this crossfire episode surfing. Comments on religion in politics are as relevant today as then.

Plus, He tells the editor of the Washington Times to "Kiss my ass"

Can we get Mr Zapa to speak out?

On Edit:
OMG :O I didn't know. 1993, Eh? I missed it.

enjoy,

-Hoot

3. I really enjoyed watching this. Zappa doesn't just tell off the guy
with the best/worst toupee ever; he stands his ground, doesn't let him reframe the question, stays focused on the issue while hairboy tries to get him to somehow equate opposition to censorship with advocating incest.

"Look here, brother;
Who you jiving with that cosmic debris?"

:thumbsup:

5. Stand your ground
Boy, Zappa uses messages for today..."the coming fascist theocracy"...

I loved his line that "morality is about behavior not theology." How appropriate for today.

What would he tell young people? "Register to vote. Run for office."

speaking to us from the grave...

Stand your ground.
