6. Cnn.com has a little on it, then goes on to what Blair said, |
|
what happened yesterday, etc. It says no other information is available. I don't think they're ignoring it, I think they aren't being allowed near the story.

|
It's the 50,000-watt ABC affiliate in Chicago, and they've talked about nothing else since it was first reported.

This is terrible. I have a young friend over there but I don't think he is near Mosul. I think he is still in Baghdad.

They are not saying how many US Soldiers are amung the dead.Considering it was on a US base and in a halliburton dining facility I would think it's likely the majority are US troops. Bad press for rummy and bush.

|
the los angeles area, KNX 1070 news radio.
BTW we have TWO all news stations and BOTH are owned by CBS. How's that for market penetration and violation of the public airwaves?

I looked at Fox and they were on the woman - baby story, MSNBC was doing some story on the Celebrex drug, only CNN was covering it. And they were quoting some military officer there who was saying the usual stuff - we must compete the mission, our resolve is strong, etc.
Can't have bad press for the glorious war effort in Iraq led by his supreme majesty, Bush.
After four more years of this Americans are gonna be sick of it, no matter how much the media tries to downplay it.
