All Bush voters have no right to complain
Edited on Tue Dec-21-04 04:38 PM by quinnox
Anyone who voted for Bush had a chance to vote for the other guy. Was it really a surprise Bush would pursue ultra right wing policies?

I don't want to hear any complaints from red state or Bush voters for the next four years, no matter what happens in Iraq, even if casualties start going to the thousands, or if the economy goes down the tubes.

They made their bed, so they have to lie in it.

They could have made a change, but they didn't so now they are stuck with Bush and his policies for the next four years.

Maybe it will wake Bush voters up when they see the disasters they helped wrought.

1. I live in a red state now
Iowa, and all I do is say,"don't blame me, I voted for Kerry" or I laugh at them. If they bitch about losing their jobs I just tell them that the military is hiring. Hopefully in 2006 we can at least regain a majority in Congress and begin the process of setting things straight.

5. I tell my brother-in-law that I hope the economy doesn't pick up
over the next few months - he might have to go find a 4th job to fill his free time.

This is the same jackass who said the liberal media doesn't want informed voters so they hide the truth.

Stupid fucker.

12. The military is hiring.
I predict I'll use that one a few times during the next four years.

3. here's something I wrote on Nov. 3rd
Well we gave them a run for their money,
After 4 years of tireless work trying to educate people of the

Lies and corruption that has besieged America , 51% of America choose

to ignore the warnings .

I grew up to believe in personal responsibilty looks like 51% of America only
believes in Fear . Lies don't matter , Pollution doesn't matter , My
beloved U.S. Constitution doesn't matter To 51% of Americans anymore .

That's okay you see I remember when I was only 8% of Americans,
49% is pretty good considering all that has happened over the last
three years . Fear is a tough thing to defeat and we did an awesome
job informing people and getting them past the Fear .

I will no longer shed tears for suffering I will simply ask
"who did you vote for?"

After 4 years of paying attention I am tempted to bury my head
in depression , sorrow and ignorance but that is not my Character .

So it looks like I've been drafted to serve for another 4 years .

I will do my best and it may never be enough .

Republicans are already rubbing salt in my wounds, mocking
gloating . So all of you who have not been as public as I, stay
below the radar . It's really no fun being me today .

6. The problem is that
we have to lie in their bed they made also. We should have plenty of fuel from the next four years of disasters to make people beg for a Dem president.

14. Let them complain
People who voted for Bush were deceived both about Bush, and aout Kerry, if they listened to any Bush campaign material. Bush campaign material also includes Fox News and the rest of the right wing media.

I hope Bush voters do come to realize the degree to which they were decived, and do start to complain.

15. Right, and
don't forget the choice issue. I talked to a few Republicans who voted for him for that reason alone. None of them liked his policies but they were more against abortion & stem cell research than for him. Oh, and I spoke with a young gay man who was voting for him because, as he put it, 'Well, he started this war and is the only one who can get us through it.'

21.  Strange Logic
That is certainly strange logic on the war, but others shared it.

I was at a small meeting with Kerry in Grand Rapids last summer prior to his public rally. Someone quoted an argument virtually identical to the one quoted here ( 'Well, he started this war and is the only one who can get us through it.' ). Kerry was just shocked to hear that people were supporting Bush based upon such strange logic.

The underlying response is that if you are digging yourself into a hole, the first thing to do is to stop digging.

you're absolutely right. Their weak arguments are refutable but they're so completely convinced of them it's a waste of time trying to change their minds.

16. This red state shit is getting old.
My state just passed...

Light rail mass transit taxes in Denver Metro
Renewable wind energy mandates
Replaced a Repug with a new Dem Senator (Salazar replacing Nighthorse turncoat)
Replaced a Repug Rep with a Dem (Salazar's brother, replacing the fruitcake McInnis)
all of this...and the Dems took over the entire state legislature...BUT...

Since Colorado went to Bush, BARELY!, we are considered "red". Ridiculously obnoxious!:eyes:

17. I live in a red state and please don't blame me...
I canvased neighborhoods, I was on the Kerry/Edwards phone lines in SW Ohio and I was a poling judge at a local precinct. So I believe I have the right to bitch about Bush* the Asshole and his minions.

On the other hand if I hear someone who voted for Bush* in this past election they are up for instant ridicule and scorn!!!!
