Right-Wing Pundit Found Plagiarizing

MSNBC is said to be preparing a new program that will feature the anchoring duo of Ron Reagan, Jr. and Monica Crowley. Crowley is a former foreign policy aide to Richard Nixon and comes to MSNBC following a stint as a Fox News political analyst.
Over the years she has also been busy writing books and magazine and newspaper articles, often about Nixon. The only problem is that her authorship, at least on one occasion, appears not to be her own work. The filching was reported at the time by Timothy Noah for Slate.

Sensational proof of plagiary below:

1. Quite a duo.
That wouldn't be who Ainsley Hayes was based on, would it? LOL!

2. A little hint for Ms Crowely...
Ah, those pesky "rules" involved with citing sources.

Let me be the first to offer you some advice, Ms. Crowely: http://www.dianahacker.com/resdoc/humanities/intext.html">Rules for Writers

It's an absolute shame that plagiarism is such a huge problem. If a person's word is all they have, why would you steal it from them?

7. I wonder if an "e-mail" blast to these people even works...They haven't
listened before...why should they now? We've "defreeped" polls and sent e-mails to them about their ever RW Drift...and they don't seem to listen. Just stop viewing and maybe all of RW America will have three Cables they can watch and let the "fight over the spoils."

They haven't listened...not discouraging folks from still keeping up the fight...but no results so far. E-Mail Blasting the FCC/Time-Warner/Comcast and Advertisers might be the better way to go...
 Going after their FCC Licenses might be more effective?

6. I just sent them an email
Subject: I will boycott any show with Monica Crowley

Have the journalistic standards of the right-wing sunk so low that the best they can offer up is a plagiarist? At least give us the appearance of credibility. If that's too much to ask, maybe you could hire an intern to hold up ten year-old published articles in front of the camera, and Ron Reagan can just debate those.

9. Plagiarism on her dissertation would make Columbia rescind Ph.D.
Poster discovered her dissertation (looks like possibly written while she was working for both Nixon and later Fox news). If there is plagiarism in the dissertation, it is highly likely the University would rescind her doctorate--which would pretty much put paid to her career. Any takers, DU'ers?
