Bush's BS on SS
http://www.progressive.org/webex04/wx1217a04.html

<snip>
At Bush's so-called economic summit, which was more like a valley, he did what he does best: instill fear about a false threat.

And he made clear who his constituency is: the financial markets.

Even before the gathering of rightwing economists began, Bush set the tone in his weekend radio address when he said, "The system is headed toward bankruptcy down the road. If we do not act soon, Social Security will not be there for our children and grandchildren."

This is the worst kind of hype.

1. History will remember this asshole has the President of FEAR!
Every tactic they have used instills fear in the constituency.
From the Fear of Terror to the Fear of the Liberals, this guy has mastered the tool of fear.

2. Without a doubt!!
George W. Bush sure is not rocket scientist material. George Bush is not what you would call Presidential material. He lacks the ability to use and/or apply the English language the way it was intended unless he is able to read it off of a tele-prompter. We all have seen what happens when George Bush attempts to ad-lib during any statement or speech.

He is leading us deeper into debt every day. He is alienating us from the rest of the world community. He is running this country into the ground. With regards to the general public who supports him. I sometimes feel they do so because they found someone who isn’t as smart as they are. What else is there to like about George W. Bush.

3. To master it, you have to experience it....
If W's the master of fear, he must live in some kind of constant state of it. What an insecure little prick, I wish I could tell him to his face, but he's afraid of people doing that.
