Why is it that the military broadcasts a drug-crazed maniac like Rush to the troops every day but not a talk-show host who is currently making his third or fourth trip over there to entertain the troops?

(Just posted this on another thread in the general discussion)

I can't stand him (can't think of the exact word to describe him, smarmy?), but was flipping stations while stuck in traffic. Some caller called him out on him not going over there, and he was caught off-guard. He started with all the stuff about how he supports them at home, how he wasn't invited, etc, but the caller was having none of it. It was definitely great to see him taken down a peg.
