They would have excoriated him.

Why aren't we doing the same to *?

3. Had Kerry been given his victory, the RNC, media would have
instantly turned anti-war and burned Kerry on the stake for every single casualty. I also think Kerry would have been slow/undecisive to withdraw - so he would have become another Johnson.
As for us doing the same to * - sorry , he started it with no reason.
In 2002 was heard screaming: F* Saddam, I'm taking him down!"
Everything that happens there is his fault.

5. If the Dems do that, they'd not be "supporting the troops" RW would say
Would they think the same if it were Kerry. Would they find some justification for doing under Kerry what they say would be detrimental to the troops if done to Bush? I imagine they would. Even when Clinton used force, he was wrong -- he was wagging the dog.

It's all so partisan. Well, truth isn't partisan, it's just the truth. If you support the troops, you support them, no matter who is in power. You don't twist yourself into a knot so that you're always right and your opponent is always wrong.

7. They would've blamed it on Clinton...
Oh WAIT they wouldn't have to because they could blame it on Kerry. Silly me.
