Mosulgate: Cheney downsized military mess halls as Reagan's Defense Sec.

I just heard a report from someone on a local radio show about how Cheney decided to make mess halls consolidated and outsourced when he was making decisions when doing the Defense gig in the Reagan administration.

During the Vietnam war, mess halls and staff were part of the team and were this easier to control who was with whom. That was an awful war as well, but at least you knew the mess hall staff was on your side.

Cheney is even more responsible for the deaths in Mosul than the other war mongering chickenhawks in the White House.


Figuring that Cheney is cutting back and underestimating the costs of this war while war profiteering (having Halliburton giving him a "deferred compensation" of up to $1 million a year since 2000 over a time period of five years), it's time to turn up the heat on his ass.

Getting Cheney and Rumsfailed both attacked and tossed aside would make for a wonderful scenario to finally impeach the Chimp.

It's time to get Cheney.

was the begining of the effort to out source every role in the military except ground pounder. There was the mythical believe that all the smart weapons coming on line means you need less actual troops. The problem or disadvantage you have when you have never served in combat is understanding that the most important job in the military is the ground pounders. Without these real estate agents all your smart weapons and high tech stuff is limited to observation and making a lot of noise.
