Kirik Flap will hurt Guliani for 2008, sorry Rudy!
Edited on Thu Dec-23-04 12:26 PM by seahawky
It wasn't to long ago that Rudy had his own problems with an affair with a New York City employee. Beanard Kirik gave Rudy a black eye and a reminder about Rudy's own infidelities . Dating suboridinates, while married, is highly unethical. This will truly emerge as debate as 2008 approaches. Good Luck Rudy and Go Yankees!

2. I hope this means that Rudy won't try to run for Senate in 2006
Since he would probably win, since alot people act like he is "so great" in New York State

3. I think that was the point.
I don't believe for one second that the Bush White House didn't know that Kerik was unfit. And Rudy's not knowing renders him completely incompetent. They're trying to clear the way for Jeb in 2008, that's all.

15. Maybe Rudy did know...
I wonder how much Kerik got paid by
the Repubs to fall on his sword?

7. I really don't think Rudy ever had a chance for Prez anyway
Rudy has a major disadvantage -- he hasn't had the equivalent of the Bush family cartel covering his tracks and fixing his messes all his life. The sordid business with his mistress and his lack of "famly values" in his own family is documented and would turn off some of the Repub voters. There are layers upon layers of corruption and thuggishness in his past and no doubt in his present. This would all come out, and there are still many Repub voters who would be turned off by it. Unlike *, Rudy has never been "saved," with all his decades of sins conveniently washed away in the eyes of evangellical right-wingers.

I rather doubt many southerners would trust such a swaggering New Yorker anyway. And he is not good-looking or encouraging to look at. He would have a hard time being a good poster boy, even in the most expensive suits.

His pockets are not as bottomless as the Bush cartel's, with their generations-long plundering and fabulously wealthy "friends" all over the world, to fund coverups and buy loyalty. His power is local, not national, and it is shallow and easily tarnished compared to that of *'s family. And what favors or threats could he produce compared to what is at the disposal of the Bush cartel? Small time all the way.

No, Rudy is a dirty tin-plated little braggert thug, and he never had a realistic chance for the presidency even before the laughable farce with Kerik. He's a neighborhood bully with a tenuous hold over his own local turf and a wider reputation as a tough guy but not much else. That's not enough.

8. This photograph will prevent Guliani from winning the GOP nomination
There's simply no way that the Republicans will vote for a guy who enjoys dressing up like a woman as much as Rudy does :) I kind of think he looks better this way.

13. Would love for Rudy to be the 2008 nominee
He would alienate the people that Rove has been working so hard to convince that Republicans are just like them. Rudy cannot sell that can of Spam.

16. Not sure about Jeb
But the downfall of Kerik hurting Giuliani was most assuredly planned for, IMO.
