It'll be long buried. KErry has seen he has lost all relevance and it scares him. He wants to lose again in 2008 and he doesn't want Democrats thinking he's the wimp he is.

No story there...
Just a self promoting blogger looking for web traffic to his site.
What a disappointment....

8. Relevant or not, if the triad machines are impouded and fraud is |
|
found (even a little, or a question of fraud, or anything at all), it may not change the results of the election, but it legitimizes our concerns over fraud. That is all I want, really, is to be able to call into question george's "mandate."

All that happened is that Kerry will be filing a request for expedited discovery and beg the Neocons not to destroy evidence.
That's it.
This is such a non-issue the folks at Free Republic are probably laughing their asses off. We wait for "big news" and we get a lame-ass request-filing.
Not only is there no calvary over the hill, there is no hill.

13. Why did he wait so long? |
|
Because to build a case, you need TIME, time to gather the EVIDENCE and prepare the CASE.
You just don't run down to "Court Cases 'R Us" and pick up a sixpack.

14. I still wonder what happened to Kerry's "secret plans" |
|
During the primary and shortly after Kerry won, many Kerry partisans were spreading rumors that Kerry "had the goods" on Bush, that he was going to take down Bush by exposing their corruption, and suggested that Kerry was the only one that could beat Bush since he had extensively researched them during his investigations of Iran Contra and BCCI.
I think it was all 100% crap.

16. I almost hate to use the word freeper for some of these replys. Almost. |
|
But not quite. Looks sort of, um, negative, even for my cynical negative self. Especially once you check out freerrepublic and the same things they are saying there. Oh well.

19. And it doesn't even look as though |
|
Kerry has actually filed any lawsuit yet. It certainly doesn't seem to be being reported by mainstream media.
I strongly suspect that in the end Kerry will "reconsider" and not file anything at all.
I was with a group of Democrats several weeks ago, and someone who'd worked as an advance person with the Kerry campaign was asked why he'd conceded so early, and we were given the standard bullshit about not wanting to appear a sore loser. It was so clear that no one in Kerry's campaign understood how utterly betrayed we felt by his refusal to stand and fight, especially considering he'd promised not to give up until every vote was counted.
And while I realize that conceding isn't any kind of legal thing, the fact is that Kerry showed what a true wimp he was by caving in immediately. Had he shown the backbone he should have, we'd have had rioting in the streets on November 3rd.

21. Imo a real leader does not cop out and wait for someone else to do the |
|
work and then jump in on it as if he were a saviour of some sort.
A real leader stands up proud for his beliefs and keeps his promises to the people who worked hard and long for him. And I don't mean like the lies of Bush who stands up, all dressed up, to be proud for lies, and photo ops.
It is time to drop Kerry. He is a painful disappointment. He is best off being a comfortable honorable Senator.
Sorry, he is most likely a good man,I don't mean to say he is not, but he is not the leader we need desperately at this point.
That leader is someone who sees fascism, is alarmed, and is NOT going to go along with it, for the sake of saving their country from an insane fascist and to hell with their comfy Senator job.
That IS what we have become and to go on as if nothing has happened, as if the business of congress will continue on in it's insipid, but comfortable way, is insulting.
and whatever this titillation is coming from Truthout, it appears to be the same as all titillation posted for it's effect--a deep dark mystery that only some of the "in" people are privvy to,punctuated with "hints" before the great revelation to occur on the morrow and that gets people to hang on every word and to visit a web site.
