I met with a few key staff people on the House side yesterday and now have a target list of almost 80 names of Democrats who I think could plausibly support the Challenge that I will post tonight or tomorrow. If the Congressional Black Caucus sticks together and is joined by the Progressive Caucus we should be able to get well over 50 votes, maybe more. Our cause has been aided considerably today by the addition to our legal team of soon-to-be-former Florida Congressman Peter Deutsch, who said he'd only help us if we could present to him a compelling case of widespread voter fraud in Florida. Bev Harris pretty much won him over. Thanks to Bev and the BlackBoxVoting.org team for enabling us to win a forceful and articulate advocate over to our side.
