Kerry fans -- did Kerry say he was attending the Inauguration?
Sometime in November I am sure I read either an email from Kerry or an interview with Kerry saying that he was going to attend the Inauguration.

Does anyone have a quote or remember reading that particular remark from Kerry??

At the time I read the remarks by Kerry I assumed that he wanted us to throw or support to bush as the "winner". However, now I am not so sure what he was saying to his supporters.

Anyone who collects all of Kerry's email and interviews -- can you find the one about where he says he intends to be 20 January??

1. I'm pretty sure he will be there
I have no official confirmation to support that, but Senator Kerry is a classy guy. He'll be there, as our TRUE President.

2. Kerry is a classy guy
I'm sure Kerry will be the classic gentleman to Bush at the Skull & Bones reunion party after the inauguration. Just a a friendly competition between collegues, no need to be rude about it!

18. Or he could be doing his job
Hmm, let's see here. There's a conspiracy theory that I've heard that John Kerry is a duly elected Senator from the rogue state of Massachusetts. This means he gets together with other 'Senators' from time to time and they conspire to commit legislation. I know someone who caught a secret broadcast of these meetings on some kind of closed circuit TV broadcast called C-Span. (If only the American people knew this stuff, but apparently the conspiracy is so sucessful, only a few select souls know about it.) Apparently the source material for this theory is something called 'The Constitution of the United States', but I'm not sure If can get a copy of this secret document. Apparently it lays out the whole damn conspiracy, including plans for an executive branch, a legislative branch that has to work with the first branch and a nefarious branch that only shows up in black robes and judges people. Really weird stuff. When I get more info, I'll pass it along. It really explains why this 'Senator' might show up at a national event.

9. What I'm looking for are his exact words
and the context in which those words were spoken.

If you've been reading the threads about the legal papers that Kerry's lawyers will be filing tomorrow -- then perhaps some of the things Kerry has said since 2 November may take on a different meaning.

3. I thought it's the tradition for the challenger to attend...
the Inauguration of the winner.

I thought I remember Chris Matthews or somebody going "And on January 20th, John Kerry will be on that stage watching Bush put his hand on that bible..." just like Clinton & Gore were in 2000.

16. You sir don't know terribly much about John Kerry, do you?
If you did, you'd realize how patently absurd your "Skull and Bones" paranoia actually is.

Read a book or two on the man, watch "Going Upriver" and then tell me you still feel the same.

Meanwhile, I wonder if people felt the same when Gore attended 2000.

He'll be there because it's proper ettiquette.

and secondly he is a senator. Usually the entire House and Senate is there.

21. One more time -- this is for fans of Kerry
and if you had the ability to read --

I know I read his remarks somewhere but I can't find the reference I spent an hour or two looking through my own files. These remarks could have been from one of his early post election interviews. Or were they remarks from one of his aids? I CAN'T FIND THE REFERENCE -- WHICH IS WHY I ASKED KERRY FANS.

Bridget you are a rude person and you are now on my ignore list.

For Kerry fans -- there may be a message within this message -- reading between the lines.

This is why I was asking for the exact quote and the context.

23. I don't think HE said it, but someone 'quoted' that he 'planned to attend'
...one of those twice-removed, implied things. Think it was on one of these threads, in a newspaper article excerpt.

24. He is planning to attend
At least according to an article in the Boston Globe. Funny, most of the 400 tickets his office was alloted for people who want to attend the inauguration from MA were not exactly flying off the shelves. I believe Kerry was going to give any leftovers away to the Texas delegation.

I have no idea when the Senator plans on doing the scenic tour of Iraq. Sometime in Jan. but not Jan. 20th.

20. where he says he intends to be 20 January??
he will be with the rest of the boys in that exclusive club called the Senate.

As for having the election contested?

The supreme court isn't going to touch the Ohio debacle with a ten foot pole. Unless they intervene, it's all a waste of time, unless for the fact Bush gets tainted with corruption by it. Which I seriously doubt.

There are no 100's of 1,000's of people waiting to move into action to protest Bush's (s)election on Jan. 20th. The Ukraine we are not.

25. More importantly: January 21st
On January 21st, the Sci-Fi channel will have all new seasons of Stargate SG-1, and Stargate Atlantis. It will also be the debut of the new Battlestar Galactica series.

If that doesn't dwarf this whole "election" thing, I do not know what does.
