I was pretty dumbfounded.
The substitute host tried to deflect it by saying something about Indonesia has been making progress in combating terrorism ya da ya da...because he must have found it a stupid statement as well.
But that's the mentality that get their world view from RW media.
(BTW, the only reason I heard it was there was nothing but an old Christmas show on NPR when I was driving around, so I was dialing around the AM band.)
