Scary thought, but I can see him doing it.

2. Why not? Caligula appointed his horse to the senate.
And George enjoys rubbing our noses in our helplessness.

He also is incapable of seeing consequences.

3. It'd make him a darling of the right
but they are too politically savvy to do that.

5. No. No chance.
Moore defied a fed ct. order. There is no way in hell that bush is even remotely interested in a fight over Moore. Bush has no shortage of reactionary right wing judges without the baggage Roy Moore carries.

7. And why would he want it?

Moore will be mentioned just to rouse people up and make others look "mainstream." Way too controversial to be nominated. We've had the battles over nominations long enough for a more than a few judicial careers to get to the point of being nominated. New nominees will not have a huge paper trail full of right wing banter, they will have "stelthed" themselves quite a bit.

And the why would he want it, I would think his book will do pretty well and I am sure there are right wing and religious groups across the country that pay him pretty well to speak at their conventions or when they need reviving.
