I seriously doubt that the US will receive ANY sympathy next time around. But then again, the reich-wing Americans don't give a rat's ass about the rest of the world anyways, no?

I agree...we get hit again, the rest of the world won't feel sorry for us. They'll be telling us that we got what we deserved.

Canada responded on Sept 11th with firefighters, rescue people, iron workers etc. I doubt that would change.

Canada also supplied the landing space. Halifax and Gander were especially generous in their aid. And, WTF, it took Shrub 3 years to acknowledge.

The hardest hit country is also the largest Muslim country. Could've reaped a lot of much-needed goodwill by rolling up his sleeves and piling into the effort immediately. Too late now.

10. We don't give a shit when Saudi Arabia is bombed |
|
Why?
Because that is where the terrorists who attacked us were created and funded.
And when terrorists eventually attack America again, why should anyone else care?
We are, after all, the ones who would have created them ourselves.

care, I mean. As much as I hate President Bush* and his cronies, Americans, as a people, have been good friends to my country. We share, for the most part, similar values and ideals. At least, I HOPE we do:toast:.

I hope that a lot of people in the world see the difference between American people and the thieves who have stolen control of our government.
Thanks for sticking with us while we try to fix this mess.

16. I hope the world still sees us that way. In three weeks I have to attend |

a meeting that is very international in nature ...... one attendee from each of the US, Canada, UK, France, Holland, Germany, Switzerland, Philippines, and Australia. This group is usually a good gauge for me to assess our standing in the world. Right after 9/11 the support was incredible. At our last meeting, this past June in Paris, the general consensus was that most of the world had lost trust for the US government, but most held individual Americans in the same regard they always had. Of course, they also know full well that most Americans who deal internationally are different than the run of the mill right winger who has no desire to travel.
