Does anybody remember CNN and Army PsyOps ? Redeux ?
The "CNN and PsyOps" story by Alexander Cockburn of Counterpunch
http://www.counterpunch.org/cnnpsyops.html after the 2000 election certainly raised eyebrows but went nowhere in the media.

Fasforward to 2004. We find that Fairness and Accuracy in the Media
"MEDIA ADVISORY: The Return of PSYOPS Military's media manipulation demands more investigation" , December 3, 2004
http://www.fair.org/press-releases/cnn-psyops-fallujah.html

but no mention if the media had been influenced during the election !

Hell, the right wing owns the major media already so any 'cones of silence' (or other actions "ops") will just get a wink and a nod anyway. Now what would happen if say partisan elements got ahold of an operation like this ? (Why, "We're at war now soldier ! Support your commander in chief maggot !").

We'll become just like Chile in the '70's. Get ready for your fellow DU posters to become 'disapparacidos' amigos. Adios !
