4. I think he was "In Charge Of" dropping the ball
hm, pun intended? the one in N.Y.C. -

When I was in the Navy I was stationed on a ship that seldom went anywhere, We had a chief petty officer who was so worthless, they made him In Charge Of The Parking Lot -- so he would direct traffic out there and leave the rest of us to do our high tech jobs -- of scraping paint, picking up cigarette butts, etc.

A place for everybody, and everybody in his place -- Go Navy! ;-)

5. Thanks for killing my only child Colin.
You've always been a world class liar like the rest of your Jesusista pals.

I'll remember you tomorrow when I lay roses on the grave of my only child who you lied to. I'll also think of the mothers and fathers of My Lai who lost their children, and the fact that YOUR WORTHLESS FUCKED UP ASS COVERED THAT UP, TOO!

Once again- I am SO sorry. I don't even know what to tell you right now except that we're here for you in your pain.

Hug. Just a huge, tight hug to tell you we care and will do everything possible to see those madmen behind bars where they belong. That's a promise.

8. How about you not tell a parent how to
remember their child, nor lecture them on whom to blame.

Why do you think that Zanti isn't proud of their child's service? It's possible to be proud, but place the blame squarely where it belongs:

On Colin Powell, liar and murderer.

9. What a piece of shit statement to make to a parent
I'm angry, too, but I don't blame the soldiers who volunteered or the parents of those who died by suggesting that if their child hadn't volunteered they would be alive.

Powell - and the rest of the Bush juggerknot - DID kill this person's child. There was no way this war should have been fought. Powell had the responsibility of being the only sane person in this administration and he didn't do enough to stop this evil. I'm hoping he redeems himself and writes a tell-all book so that maybe the sheeple will wake up. I think they'd listen to him.

39. How sane is it to knowingly go before the UN and lie about an invasion
Edited on Sun Jan-02-05 08:22 PM by Malva Zebrina
just to satisfy Bush?

and if he didn't know, he should not have been the SOS. Millions of us knew and millions of us knew about the evil goals of Bush.

Powell is now looking to save his fat ass. He is looking to restore a sense of sober "dignity" he once had, or maybe really neverhad to be honest.

He sold his soul, and because he stayed with Bush he cannot restore it by now attempting to use propaganda to paint himself as the real, sober and thinking person in the Bush White House who was shunned and ignored.

He is despicable, really, but I don't really think he cares as there is no threat to his future, in spite of his, almost treason against the US.

That is the way it goes, these days.

I am ANGRY and ASHAMED that MY ONLY CHILD was Brainwashed by LIARS such as that fucking Colinoreo Powell. I am ashamed that he went and fought for Haliburton and the Bush Crime Family. He did NOT fight for America, he fought for Jesusland.

I did NOT want him in the armed forces. Period.

My only child died for NOTHING.

I have nothing left to lose but the chains the Jesusistas have put on me, that's why I am going to do all I can to take California out of Jesusland.

Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 11:57 AM by Kahuna
He has aided and abetted the junta from the very start. You should not be lecturing a parent who has lost their only child on whom they should blame and how they should feel. When YOU lose your child to an unjust invasion, come back and talk. For the record, not one soldier volunteered to be lied to. Got it now?

19. You need to put this in proper perspective
BABIES that volunteer to serve our country do not realize that the President and much if not all of his cabinet will simply play with their lives. BABIES don't think that people in general are that viscous and cold. BABIES are naive and think that they are being honorable for honorable leaders. THE BABIES HAVE ALL BEEN LIED TO and when I see ANY of them listed as a casualty, I think of the lying cold blooded neocons that wasted young lives and true hearts for money, power and greed. WAKE UP, use your head. Babies volunteer their lives believing in our leaders and we all know that our leaders lied. So get off of the back of this poor parent, apologize or just shut the fuck up and get a brain and a heart.

I am so sorry for the loss of your child. I can feel your pain as my son just cleared the time period of being out of the military long enough so that he wouldn't be called back. I simply would have gone berserk if he were still involved.

In death your child only had a brief time of disappointment, remember they will always be with you and you will always carry them with you in your heart.

Many of us ache for you, please accept our deepest sorrow and condolences.

That a lot of young people who are serving in the miltary had few other options? Did it ever occur to you that many young people entered the military to learn a skill or become eligible for financial aid to attend college?

30. Your comments are NOT respectable
They hurt and hurt deep. Tell me, are YOU walking the walk and sending YOUR children to die for Halliburton, too? You're just as insensitive as the ignorant chaplain who said at his funeral that my only child died for Jesus. Right then, I got up and gave that bible thumping boob the toungue roasting he deserved.

I am ashamed that I did not do more to keep my only child away from the Jesusitas. I should have put my foot down and kept him from going to church with his so-called friends. Now it is too late.

Unselfish sacrifice? My son was sacrificed by the Jesusistas so they could get their hands on more oil for their fucking SUVs. I tell you what, let's see that worthless little wimp George P Bush put his lazy ass on the front line! No, George P is too busy breaking into girlfriends houses and assulting them in the name of Jesus.

and when Colinoreo Powell goes before the UN and knowingly lies to cause this, well, I hope the hottest level of hell is waiting for him. I am tired of hearing the lies that this tool of the Nazi Party has a conscience. If he did he would have resigned. He craves power too much to give it up.

Powell's whole career has been one lie after another, starting with My Lai, going thru Grenada and Contra Cocaine, and undermining Bill Clinton to seeing that military ballot boxes were stuffed with Bush ballots in Florida long after the polls closed.

You're also wrong about my sex. I'm a man who raised my child alone. My wife abandoned us right after he was born. I'm the one who took care of him. I'm the one who sat up night after night when my boy was ill. I still made sure that he has a holiday when the money wasn't there. I am the one who made all the sacrifices, the sacrifices that turned out for nothing for a dead 19 year old.

Yes, I spent time there in the VA Cemetary today. I took the flag off of his grave and burned it when I came home. The flag now stands as a symbol of pure evil to me.

Just as every one of those fucking traitors in the White House is responsible.

How *dare* you insult Zanti's loss in such a way. It's disgusting. The child had no reason to be there, and you know THAT, too.

17. Can you read? If so, don't put words in my mouth.
I'll repeat, in case you missed it: Powell is just as responsible for the child's death as the person who actually killed him.

Hopefully you can comprehend that. I can break it down further, if it confuses you into using another strawman argument.

The avatar of Free Iraq now?

Excuse me, but I wish they would free Iraq now and I am VERY supportive of the military, being a veteran's wife and all.

It is BECAUSE I am supportive of the military that I want them to stop getting killed and wounded in an immoral, pointless war WE carried out on a country that did nothing to us.

24. How simplistic.... are all your posts this shitty
everyone in the Armed Forces "is a gullible pawn.

Or are they unselfish patriots? It can't be both."

There are as many reasons for people being in the Armed Forces as there are people in the Armed Forces.

The gullible pawn would be one end of the spectrum & the unselfish patriot the other end and common sense should tell you that the majority are neither of these extremes they are in the middle.

Whats is your fucking damage? You sound mucho freepish

Unless invited to make negative comments about someones only child
now deceased it's best to Shut the Fuck up or at least that's what common sense would tell one.

34. Yes, they can be both and they are both
If you would just stop and think here, they are volunteering and thinking that they are fighting for their country. They are GIVING of themselves for what they think to be a worthy cause for their country.

The leaders of the country are lying to them and USING their youth and idealism to their own advantage and putting them into a war based on lies.

Yes, both can exist and both do exist. Use your eyes and brain next time you post.

These kids are giving us their lives (UNSELFISH PATRIOTS) and our leaders are lying to them and using them (GULLIBLE PAWNS).

One name (UNSELFISH PATRIOT) refers to the kid's intentions...The other name (GULLIBLE PAWN) refers to HOW that honor of life and blood is being USED.

I hate stupidity more than just about anything else. I just wish I could tell you to your face.

you are the one who asserts that they can't be both, I'd like to know your reasoning. Or are you one of those people who believes that things are either black or white, right or wrong, with no shades of gray in between? Because if you are, you fit the description of a very narrow minded person.

Edited on Sat Jan-01-05 11:19 PM by TheWatcher
How did we reach this point? How did we reach the point where people are so delusional, so tactless that they can say something like this to a greiving parent? It reminds me of the scene if Fahrenheit 911 where Lila Lipscomb was confronted by that piece of shit freeper.

To the parent I say, mourn however you wish, however you need to, and simply ignore fools who post such tripe. Such people are not even worth your acknowledgement. And it IS NOT unjust to blame these monsters for your loss.

If it had not been for their abysmally stupid policies to begin with, we would never have attacked Iraq. We never should have been there in the first place. That is the one thing people like this hapless poster never seem to get.

And I too feel sorrow for your loss and offer my condolences. I lost a friend in this war. And I am deeply sorry you lost your son.

And to the Poster who said this, SHAME ON YOU. Get a fucking clue. or simply fuck off. Whichever is easier for you.

Although it is not very hard to spot them sometimes. What is so sad is they think they are clever and can disguise themselves well. Some actually HAVE accomplished the mole part quite well, and I can rmember the bizarre election night episode of a couple of longtime Posters outing THEMSELVES as moles.

For the most part though they are all too transparent.

I know what shit smells like, and lately the odor is getting a little too strong.
