Maybe Democracy isn't dead after all. I for one am making it a point to write her today to express my gratitude. I am also making it a point to write to both of my Democratic senators to express my disappointment in them. I don't know of Kohl even voted, but I'll send him a short letter anyway. I am, however, going to concentrate more on Feingold. I still like him, but I expected him to stand up for us this time. I was incredibly disappointed with his silence in 2000.

If you have Democratic senators representing your state, I encourage you all to do the same!!!

5. Her Vote was Great

When I heard that she had challenged the vote I for a while was happy. Then I heard that the Republicans were able to shut down the debate. I am still happy that at least one Democrat tried to make an issue about the problems that went on in this election. She did a very courageous thing and deserves our congradulations.
