They all voted ney, didn't they?
I'm kidding, of course. But why are people bashing Obama so forcefully while so many others voted the exact same way as he did yesterday?
I often wonder if there are a lot of carefully planted Freepers around here, trying to divide us from within.

1. because Obama was the DU posterboy during the campaign
and people held out higher expectations for him. I think it is terrible only one democrat had the guts to say "yes". I'm particularly sorry about Russ Feingold. Will I continue to support Russ, yep, because by and large he is as good as they get.

6. The Democrats In Congress Worked Together Yesterday. They Had
a plan worked out beforehand.

Boxer signed on and the other got up and spoke... and made the GOP look like complete assholes in the process.

And the Democrats did this by NOT questioning AT THIS TIME the legitimacy of Junior.

Obama was one of those who spoke out FOR US and yet some are disappointed?

Too many DU'ers can't see the forest from the trees.

2. ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ
Sorry, that's over and done with. Instead of casting aspersions now, let's make sure they vote right on little details like Social Security.
This is the last comment I'm making on the definitely past election except to say let's work hard to prevent anything like this from happening again.

3. I'm so glad I read your message
Your heading got me mad --- If I hadn't read your message, I'd being write you a flame (but may not have sent it.)
I wonder whether there was some behind the doors horse trading going on. After all, the Republican Senators look like they may be hanging DeLay out to dry.

5. Carefuly planted Freepers?
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 01:50 PM by Merlot
Ya think?

I doubt if they have enought forthought to be careful or have a plan.

These divisive people think they are doing some highly undercover work to further their cause. In another era they'd be hunting for commies.

They're spying on us - because what we say here on the internet is so private. Then they take all this useful information back to their little caves. And spew and rage about us.

8. Too much democrat bashing going on...
Edited on Fri Jan-07-05 02:59 PM by DemGirl7
I think there is WAY too much democrat bashing going on in here in last day...yes, I know I was one of them...heck I even went as far as saying that I was thinking about burning my copy of Robert Byrd's Losing America...I know your probably thinking that I'm a nutcase, but I realize it was a very irrational thing to say...I was pissed... that's my really lame excuse. But I have calmed down over the night...and realized that I was expecting a little bit too much of the democratic senators. I feel there is way too much bashing going on in here..we need to come together..stop the bashing, or aleast take it down a degree, and just try to focus on the real enemies...the Bushes, the Retarded Cowboy's Administration, Karl Rove, Dick Cheney,Freepers and any other Republican(s) you can't stand.
