China to buy Union Oil of California
<snip>
NEW YORK - China's third biggest oil and natural gas company is considering making a bid for all or part of U.S. rival Unocal Corp., published reports said Friday. If true, it would be the latest indication of China's rising appetite for overseas investment.

<snip>

Is this the price the Bush administration is paying China to pressure North Korea to stop their missile and nuclear programs?

I hope North Korea is getting enough kickback money to buy food for its starving people.

Could they buy Canadian wheat?

Who has surplus of rice for sell at this time? Has the tsunami driven up to price of rice on the world market?

2. Unocal, friends of the Taliban
they were the ones who invited the Taliban to come visit them in cozy li'l ole Sugar Land, Texas (where they have offices on US59). It was all going to be sunshine and roses, working hand in hand with the Taliban to build a nice big pipeline across Afghanistan.

The Bushes are loyal only to their international financial consortium. I swear they use this country only for themselves and their cronies.
