GOP celebrates defeating the poor
Though there was no official poem for the occasion, impressionist Rich Little, emceeing the Constitution Ball at the Hilton Washington, did provide a bit of inaugural doggerel.
The gist of it was: "Let's get together, let bitterness pass, I'll hug your elephant, you kiss my ass!" And the crowd went crazy.

Little said he missed and adored the late President Ronald Reagan and "I wish he was here tonight, but as a matter of fact he is," and he proceeded to impersonate Reagan, saying, "You know, somebody asked me, 'Do you think the war on poverty is over?' I said, 'Yes, the poor lost.' " The crowd went wild.

3. Yea, never liked him either but look at what he said
'Do you think the war on poverty is over?' I said, 'Yes, the poor lost.' " THE CROWD WENT WILD."

They were making fun of the poor. How sick was that? :scared:

4. ..................@#%*%!@#*&^%$#
Fucking BASTARDS!!!!!!!!!!! Ya know, I'm already on the edge. This kind of shit is creating in me a total resentment and disrespect for any authority.

I just watched a movie today. Can't remember the title because I came into it after it's start (DiCaprio was star). It was about the French King Louie and his twin Phillipe...also the musketeers. The rotten little bastard king(the evil twin) partied on and sent people into battle to die while: "The people were rioting in Paris for lack of food and livlihood"

The people were at their wits end, pissed off and about to mob the Kings palace. THAT'S WHERE I'M AT.

Laugh you soul-less bungholes, your day is coming!!

8. In defense of Rich Little and the crowd...
He says "the poor lost" and the crowd laughs because its...you know...ironic.

By laughing they were acknowledging that Reagan's and the republican's point of view was hypocritical, that what they meant by a war on poverty was a war on the poor.

It's humorous because it reveals a truth, hence the laughing.

I'm not convinced that Rich Little was laughing at the poor so much as laughing at the Republicans...

IMHO.

by the way, I thought he was dead, too.
