What kind of message is the bush regime is sending our children? |
|
With all the lies and deceit, and then getting promoted to a top level position? What are our children thinking when they see this? They will just start lying and cheating, following the example our leaders have set for them.
This is a message we need to start sending, we heard it from the repukes during the Clinton/Lewinsky scandal. They are ruining our children.

1. We sure do, this is a matter |
|
of values. Real values and this is just how the dems should be framing the debate.

Here are some of the messages this administration has been communicating to the children of this country (you remember, the precious children who were corrupted by the evil Bill Clinton and discovered oral sex because of him?)
- it's okay to lie, cheat and steal to get whatever you want - if you get caught, and even if the evidence is irrefutable, just lie and deny - you can be a jerk and a screw up your entire life, and still expect everything you want -- even the most powerful post in the world -- to just be handed to you when you decide you want it. - you can fail at everything, screw up beyond anyone's wildest expectations, and take no responsibility whatsoever. In fact, you can still blame your predecessor for all your failures. - you can embody everything evil in the world -- greed, maliciousness, dishonesty, insensitivity, etc. -- and present yourself as a Christian --- one that was appointed by GOD, no less! - you can never progress beyond the psychological development of a sociopathic four-year-old, yet never feel compelled to engage even a moment of introspection or reflection. In fact, you can tell everyone you are perfect.
Seriously, would any of these moralizing "parenting experts" we're always hearing from suggest that we allow children to grow up under those rules? If it were a liberal parent raising a child like that, they'd call them every name in the book.

7. And that you can be really stupid, lazy and uninformed and be |
|
president as long as your Daddy is rich and you have powerful friends in high places. That you can skip out on your military obligations with impunity. He has taught them that the presidential office is bought and paid for by corporate self-interests, that the Constitution is now called the "Suggestion for a Country as Interpreted by the Rethugs" instead the law of the land and you don't have rights as much as religious dictates from extremist faux religious leaders. He taught our children that our country is the laughing stock of the earth, that America = power hungry, world domination, people killing defense contractor warmongers. He has lowered the bar for achievement to such depths it now rivals a snake's belly in a wagon rut.
And that Bush is stupid is as stupid does.

3. According to my 14 yr. old |
|
Lying about sex gets the nation enraged and causes a president to be impeached. Lying about a war causes no outrage and the nation is quiet. Sex is very, very bad, but war is really good.
You and Dad are truly evil because you have more than 1 of us and we know what you had to do to create us, therefore I will be contacting the moral majority to turn you in.
He may be a smart ass, but he's my little smart ass.

9. Daily I find myself disputing RW spin with my nine year old |
|
The wing nuts have armed their kids with the spreading freedom spew and I seem to hear about it on a daily basis.
I pull no punches and tell my kid bush is a liar.
He lied about the Weapons in Iraq and he sent our troops there to kill and be killed based on lies.
Base line... BUSH LIED (Isn't that what we heard about Clinton's sex life ad nauseum for months?) But INDEED what kind of a message DOES ALL THIS SEND?
