George W Bush is like the bank robber that ....... |

Edited on Sun Jan-30-05 10:36 PM by kentuck
brought back about half the money he stole and the people applauded him for his good deed. He could have kept it all but because of the goodness in his heart, he returned half of the money to the bank.
Now, he is being applauded for bringing democracy to a country that he alone destabilized. He alone was responsible for the deaths of tens of thousands Iraqis. But now, he's bringing "democracy" to the people. Do not hold him accountable for what he did in the past. Just give him credit for what he is doing now. Anything less....is uncivilized.

1. I see it more like he paid the half with a |
|
rubber check and brags that he alone solved the crime as well.
I don't remember where I saw this, but I am put in mind of the guy who murdered his parents and asked leniency from the court since he was an orphan.

3. Just watched his speech about the elections. Usual arrogance that is |
|
his trademark. Very confidant sounding about his "democracy" gift to the people of Iraq.
I almost thought his eyes looked a bit moist. Maybe he really was sweating bullets that noone would show up to vote.

4. He's more like the arsonist who put out the fire he started |
|
...so he could be hailed as a hero for bringing that raging fire that killed thousands under control.
