Poll question: Dumbest thing Chimp said in his first term? |
|
It was very hard to narrow this down to 10. Feel free to post any others.

That one is still my favorite.

So stupid, cluless and yet with an overtone of lewdness - the thought of OB-GYNs "spreading their love around" just makes me disgusted. It sounds illegal!!!
I'm sure that whole specialty of MDs were horrified by Chimp's remarks. There are so many people that already think there is something not right or kind of nasty about men making their living in medicine by specializing in "that area". I know my brother, who is otherwise intelligent and very liberal, thinks male OB-GYNs are perverts! Chimp's remarks just reinforced all the negative feelings people have about docs in that field of medicine.
"Spreading their love..." - did he not think of how it would sound? I think he tries so hard sometimes to sound compassionate and empathetic, but has no idea of the feelings behind the words, and it ends up sounding like this for instance - that OB-GYNs are a group of creeps that stare at women's private parts wanting to spread their love. He doesn't have a clue how to sound sincere since he isn't, and it's so glaringly obvious when he says ridiculous clunkers like this!

I can't pick just one -- they're all stupid and they're just the tip of the iceberg.

11. Yea, imagine the dumb stuff he's said in staff meetings |

when there are no cameras on.. That is, assuming he puts his Gameboy down long enough to actually participate in the meetings. I doubt Rove even lets him speak.

12. Bunch more here but I like this one on tribal sovereignty |
|
http://politicalhumor.about.com/library/blbushisms.htm"Tribal sovereignty means that; it's sovereign. I mean, you're a — you've been given sovereignty, and you're viewed as a sovereign entity. And therefore the relationship between the federal government and tribes is one between sovereign entities." —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Aug. 6, 2004 (Watch video clip)http://politicalhumor.about.com/od/bushvideos/v/bushismtribal.htmOr the one above it: "Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we. They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we." —George W. Bush, Washington, D.C., Aug. 5, 2004 (Watch video clip)
