Bush: We'll pick with bonds to put your money in |
|
This was the biggest red flag for me last night. Bush saying that the government will choose were you invest your money. This doesn't sound like he's increasing "freedom", he's basically giving the government even more control over the people's money by sharing it with whichever corporations he chooses, and using our money to make these companies rich. That isn't free-market conservatism, that's fascism. In the true corportist sense, a small group of businesses will make all the profits off of the people, and the government is merely the way to relay power to them. This is the biggest red flag since the patriot act. Very scary

1. "he's basically giving the government ..." |
|
There is no "government." Only the "mob."
Our government "for, of, and by the People" is now controlled by mobsters who use our financial security for their schemes and cons.

2. Yes, I didn't see this issue being addressed yet. |
|
That's in addition to just using our tax dollars to make his buddies rich. This should scare the hell out of people.

5. If they choose, you're not investing it |
|
They are investing it, which makes no sense, because it is your property. It would make more sense to allow you to invest it in real estate or wherever you want to invest it.
These people don't understand anything about government. They are acting like dumb, irresponsible management acts when a company is going down the tubes. They decide they can't fix it, don't try, and just loot away.
This is what you get when you elect people with little experience in public service into high positions. The whole reason this type of government worked in America was that it was run by people who knew what they were doing.

This isn't giving anyone freedom. In fact, it's more controlling and less secure. Very very scary

11. Bush conservatism: The government won't control your money . . . |
|
We'll take and hand it over to private investors who make their profits off screwing the little guy.
