Apology to Obama fans
Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 04:32 PM by quinnox
I recently was giving Obama a hard time because of his yes on Condi vote and I expected a yes vote for Gonzales. But he is voting no, and I can no longer say he is looking like a DINO. That dubious honor now has the other new senator, Salazar, as the leading contender.

1. Maybe this can be a lesson to all DUers...
who seem so ready, willing, and able to bash their fellow democrats before all the facts are in.

5. The "fact" is that he voted for Condi.
Or, should we give him a pass when he sells out his votes?

2. I'm not even really much of an Obama fan, but I had

a feeling he'd vote against him. Mostly because it was about time he did stand up for something.

6. But he did vote for Connie
Edited on Thu Feb-03-05 04:48 PM by bajamary
He'd have to be a fool to vote for Gonzales after he received all of the mail, emails and phone calls from those of us in Illinois who worked and voted for him.

Everyone I know who worked for him was outraged that he caved in and voted for Ms."WMD" Rice. In fact, outrage is a tame description.

Obama made a major mistake voting for her but he's not a fool, and voting for "Torture Boy" would kill his liberal progressive support in the Land of Lincoln.

7. Obama deserved a hard time for Yessing Condi
and he better not do it again.
His relatives are catching fire for having spawned something
that would EVER support that Rice woman.

Obama has linked himself to Condi and now,
whenever she does anything against the interests of the continent of Africa,
Obama's family will be reminded of his vote.
