It's impeachment time!!!! |
|
You've read the stories about Bush saying, "There is no trust fund, the money's gone!" when the money he's talking about are US Treasury notes.
Josh Marshall just pointed out:
"...what the president said today almost certainly violates his oath of office in which he swears to 'preserve, protect, and defend the Constitution of the United States.'
"That would be the Constitution which reads (Am.XIV, Section 4): 'The validity of the public debt of the United States, authorized by law, including debts incurred for payment of pensions and bounties for services in suppressing insurrection or rebellion, shall not be questioned.' "
Since Dubya's questioning the validity of that debt, I certainly think he's violated the oath of office.
Time to impeach, don't you think?

|
for failure to protect the country and ignoring the warnings, but good luck getting my way!

4. The time to impeach will be when we have a majority |
|
in the house. Until that time it's just a fantasy.

8. He didn't call for impeachment |
|
He merely pointed out the Oaf of Office is violating his oath of office.

For now, we can steadily beat the drums of impeachment until the opportunity presents itself.

7. Hmmm....It seems that he is saying:"We won't honor our debt." |
|
The Trust Fund bonds must be honored so they basically are as good as money. It seems that what he is saying is that we are defaulting on those bonds.

9. This would make a very good question for him at his next public |

appearance or at a WH press conference.

10. Why Not? All we have to do is take the House in'06. |

That's all we have to do.
