article that points out the White House blocked info about terror warnings against airliners, from the 9/11 commission report.
"It was quoting a previously undisclosed report by a commission set up to investigate the September 11 attacks on New York and Washington.
The report criticizes the FAA (news - web sites) for failing to strengthen security measures in light of the reports, and describes as "striking" the false sense of security that appeared to predominate in the civil aviation system before the terrorist strikes, the paper said.
The aviation industry, the report added, was more concerned with hijacking threats overseas.
The full version of the report by the 9/11 commission, some findings of which were published in July, was blocked from public release by the White House for more than five months."

The one I quoted stated the White House Blocked the report in the initial release, this is the more WH friendly version.

I just checked again and I don't have the article listed in most viewed/emailed/rated. You sure it's the AFP article and not the AP article?
Thanx in advance PS I even checked the AFP section of Yahoo News.
