I wonder if the Gannon apologists remember Gary Aldrich?
Remember his book "Unlimited Access" and the stink raised because the Clintons allegedly didn't get security clearances for everyone who worked at the White House.

Has anyone brought this up yet?

2. Just another example of them dishing it out but not being able to take it.
If Clinton had done 1/4 of the crap Bush has done, he would be facing impeachment or at least a 100 million dollar investigation to dig up more dirt at tax payer expense.

Propaganda is a serious breach of American trust much more than a BJ.

7. Clinton had the integrity and the guts to allow the special prosecutor
in the first place. And Bush has continually refused. Again and again. Since issue one, whatever that was.

6. Aldrich is oddly connected to the current uproar

According to something I found last fall, Bruce Eberle -- brother of Bobby Eberle of GOPUSA -- did work for Gary Aldrich during the "Unlimited Access" period.

That's of no special significance, except to reinforce the fact that all these people seem to be closely connected.

On edit: Here's the exact quote. I found it at http://www.hillary.org/forums/Hillary_Clinton_Forum_1188.html -- which is a weird webpage that may have been hacked because it pops us anti-Kerry javascript error messages -- but it may be from something Joe Conason wrote for Penthouse in 2000:

"Also, in this file was a letter from the SouthEastern Legal Foundation, (conservative legal group) that is funded by Scaife. The note praised Eberle for his work for SELF, and its star client, Gary Aldrich. (who was an FBI agent that wrote a book about his service in the Clinton White House (that was mostly fiction)."

Southeastern Legal Foundation is, of course, the group where "Buckhead" is on the advisory board. More and more, it seems that *all* this crap is connected.

On edit: On thinking it over, I'm not comfortable with the assumption that Bruce and Bobby are brothers, even though DailyKos says they are. According to online sources, Bruce is 61 and Bobby 36. Father and son, maybe, or uncle and nephew. There's definitely a connection, because Bruce refers to Bobby somewhere as representing the Texas branch of the Eberle clan. But it's not clear just what the relationship is.
