What the hell for? So he chairs the finance committee. So what? AHHHHHH. I see the angle. He supports the cuts to ag subsidies because he thinks it will more affect factory farms/big agribusiness. Russert let's another shill make believe less money for farmers is good! Hah! You think Russert will be able to speak logically on the subject? Hell no. Well, I guess when you just won reelection and you probably aren't going to run again in six years, it's ok to start pretending Bush screwing the people who put you in office is ok. Damnit. I bet you that's why he's on. Defending Bush to Midwest farmers. Bullshit. Bullshit. Bullshit.

11. That's not quite true...it was supposed to be CBS that he said that to. |
|
And I've only heard that second hand.
The C-Span show is a compilation of the ceremonies yesterday.
Give Dr. Dean a day to make sure he has a place to live in DC (he said yesterday he wasn't sure he had a place) and spend a little time with Dr. Judy, who was there in DC with him yesterday. He's going to be away from her a lot — not that he hasn't been already.

10. I was hoping for Dean, too |

On MTP, however, I thought what Charles Grassley had to say was interesting. If he's working with Republican talking points, there's some interesting backtracking going on. Now the president is just out there framing the Social Security issue with the American public and looking for bipartisan solutions.
