"Hijacking Catastrophe" now showing on Link TV!
From their website at: http://www.linktv.org/

"This film contends that a group of Bush Administration insiders used the trauma of the 9/11 terror attacks to transform American foreign policy and shows how the plan was sold to the American public."

Did y'all know about this TV station? According to their website, it is broadcast on DirecTv Ch. 375 and Dish Network Ch. 9410. I never even knew about this channel before... my SO found it last night after I went to bed, and he just showed it to me!

1. Thanks greenmutha! I get link. Unfort, John Perkins is on
BookTV talking about "Confessions of an Economic Hit Man" I HAVE to read that book. He's on borrowed time himself, laying out the way the Corporati entrap whole countries.

2. Dish Network
If you have the Dish Network check out 9415. It's a channel called the Free Speech Network that has great stuff including Democracy Now. It has shown Hijacking Catastrophe as well. I've heard that the "Pentagon Channel" is supposed to be popping up around that same bank of channels but I haven't seen it yet.

4. I Saw That; Scott Ritter Ripped bu$h A Brand New Asshole!
Not just bu$h either, but all the Chickenhawks, while explaining in beautiful detail what that terms means. Priceless. Orwell Rolls In His Grave was on Link (or was it FSTV?) about a week ago.

5. Available for download. Many more as well-
imMEDIAte Pictures - Hijacking Catastrophe - 9/11, fear and the selling of American Empire

This documentary examines how the neo-conservatives used 9/11 to put their pre-planned agenda into action. It covers the two-decade struggle by the neo-fascists to dramatically increase military spending in the wake of the cold war, and to expand American power globally by means of force

7. I just posted about this.
Maybe I need to pay a little more attention to what is already on the board. Anywho, good documentary.

10. This may be a skill set thing.
I'm nearly fifty (where does time go!) and when I was growing up, girls were sort of not expected to be so engaged. But, instead, to write in a nice hand, make nice - kids, house, whatEVER, cook up a storm. MAYBE have a career IF it didn't interfere too much with the national agenda.

lol

I wish instead someone had taught me to read a newspaper and to follow money and to be on the phone and on the net at the same time. Oh, and critical thinking, yes, that would have been nice to do much earlier.

Lifelong learner,
Beth

11. I'm almost 50 also!
And I too was raised in that environment. I *was* a rebel though, and a tom-boy. My poor mother couldn't understand why I wouldn't just conform!

12. My mom was a bigger rebel than me and STILL tried to get me
to be a Sunday gloved gal.

To date, our favorite shopping outings are to hardware stores.
