7. Really, a very sad commentary on the times we live in
if FOX should be asking this question about Hollywood when it is Hollywood that should be asking it about FOX.

Time for the wingnuts to build up another straw man to be knocked down.

Is Gannon out of touch with mainstream America? Gannon? Who's that, Fox wants to know.

10. That's one name that you'll never hear in Fox.
Unless, of course, they are telling you about his saintliness and undeserved victimization.

9. Good point.
They may be out of touch, but that's why the US has always paid so much attention. That's what they are there for.

btw, I still said no. :) I'm not gonna let faux have their way!

11. Did you see the hitpiece FauxNews did last night on Hollywood?
Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 09:03 AM by izzybeans
It was called Hollywood vs. America. If it isn't made into comedy sketch it would be truly a tragedy. Joseph McCarthy could be the "news" anchor doing his best Edward R. Murrow impersonation for the right wing illusionists. it was hilarious. The voice overs and decontextualizations were exteremely amusing. It was basically one more hitpiece on Moore, while trying to save some "passion" for christ. But they tried to take down everything from the Manchurian candidate to the Incredibles (which was odd to me). They were extremely pissed that the new enemy in the Manchurian Candidate wasn't communism but an oil rich multinational corporation. Because "come on, everyone knows that that's just ridiculous." Funny...funny...stuff.

If anyone gets a chance to watch this, its worth your time. It is both alarming that people actually swallow this stuff and think its true, but absolutely hilarious at the same time. The comedic potential is vast.

On Edit: Oh and Euthanasia, Hollywood loves it some Euthanasia. Because if you believed the "documentary" evidence provided by fox every movie has some good old fashioned Euthanasia as the evil subplot.

Edited on Mon Feb-21-05 09:05 AM by izzybeans
channel, why are the sample sizes of their polls so much smaller than both CNN and MSNBC's? Or am I just remembering a few special cases?
