But it's basically a byoi (bring your own irony) type of thing. I'm curious as to which of the two, honor or integrity, people would choose.

I would regard your take on the issue as being a question of integrity--not "personal" integrity so to speak, but professional integrity, political integrity, and the integrity of democratic institutions. But if you don't want to put it in that frame, that's cool. I'm happy to read your views on the matter anyway.
