They like war....
So long as it is someone else fighting and dying. Slobber runs down their chins just relishing the thought. That's why they love Dubya so much. He gives them war. They're behind him 100%. They're always behind anybody that's willing to fight in their place. They are macho cheerleaders. Yeah, we'll show 'em who's boss. They are sick and sorrowful human beings.

1. They should go sign up then
Plain and simple. If they're so for it.

3. But they don't have to sign up...
They have "volunteers" fighting for just what they believe in... and they a big "SUPPORT OUR TROOPS" bumpersticker on their car - right next to their Bush/Cheney '04 sticker. All they need for a trifecta is the little fish on the trunk lid.

2. "War is a force that gives meaning to their lives."
even if it is only vicarious, some reason, like sports, to think life is meaningful and significant.

4. War is not a spectator sport.
They like war the way I like football...

It's fun to watch, but to rough to play myself.

5. they say:
"we're fighting them over there so we won't have to here" :eyes: If I had a nickel for every time I've heard that...they are so deluded. Just because it makes sense doesn't make it true.

6. Better Over There than in Times Square!
You just hate Bush, and are making this stuff up about him! He never lied about anything, and you can't prove that he did! He's a good Christian and that's another thing you don't like.

Why do you hate Freedom?

9. But it doesn't make sense
Only imbecilic Bushbots could believe that terrorists the world over are converging on Iraq and will eventually meet their fate in the "great terrorist bug zapper". Undoubtedly some random zealots DO get sucked in. But I doubt that any of the organized terrorist components...say, for example, sleeper cells in the US that were in place before we invaded Iraq...have since packed their overnight bags and headed for the ME.

"We're fighting them over there so we won't have to here" is nothing but a fairytale BushCo offers the kool-aid crowd so they can sleep at night.

7. War is simply one method they use
Edited on Tue Feb-22-05 02:42 AM by TXDemGal
to funnel sweetheart funds to their cronies. And they DO love it. No amount of funding is ever too big in the interest of so-called "national security."

8. Yes, it's sport for them
They love to watch Great-Leader crush 'them filthy, turd-world raghead camel-jockeys' because 'they're sitting on OUR oil'.

11. It's manly. They're sick of being Gulliver, tied down by those inferiors.
It's time, they're nothing but swaggering blowhards.

12. If it can be made unprofitable for them, they will discard it
as a bad investment. * gives them war profits, not just war. They are behind him because he winks and nods at pillaging and corruption. If we could find some leaders who acted as leaders and in the interests of the people of this country, we could drain the swamp.
