MEDICAID Money to run out on March 11 (Mississippi) |
|
Conservatives are getting what they voted for. 780,000 poor, elderly and disabled Mississipians are serviced by the program which will cease next month unless action is taken by the State Legislature. Goveror Bar-bore says he will not support any tax increases. Keep those headlines coming and we'll see how long the grand ole party stays in charge.

At least they won't have gay marriage. It's just a matter of priorities.

Everything in this country, it seems, is running out. If there's no tax increases, even just a little bit, how can they pay for things? I'm so glad to have a democratic governor. At least I feel a little bit safe. And I hope he stays at least until Bush is far from gone. I do feel bad but they didn't pay attention. They were too caught up being "patriotic" and all the other nonsense and thinking we were the "bad guys." Sometimes people have to learn the hard way.
