RW Talk show host Mike Gallagher spoke about Gannon/Guckert today
Was channel hopping and heard him bring it up for 15 minutes or so. He used it as a backdoor way to slam bloggers in general - questioning their legitimacy. (Of course the Elephant in the room was if RW radio talk show hosts have any more legitimacy than anyone else)

Drip?

3. He had a pretty silly argument
Gallagher's take:
Bloggers consider themselves legitimate news sources
Ergo the White House lets Gannon in
Ergo it really is the Blogosphere's fault for Gannon getting into the White House. :puke:

But to give him credit, Gallagher did refer to him as a male escort...

2. If Gannon/Guckert had
happened on Clinton's watch, Gallagher would be singing a different tune. He and every other rw shill on the radio plus every tv network - would be calling for investigations. No never mind investigations. They'd move promptly toward calls for impeachment. By now everyone in the country would be thorougly familiar with Gannon, who would be in a safe house someplace (courtesy of the RNC) rehearsing his testimony. There would have been no need for bloggers to uncover and publicize this. Gallagher would be doing more than his part.

6. Well, the answer's very simple, then. WE have to do what THEY did.
WE have to start the drumbeat for impeachment and all sorts of other stink about this - just like they did with the Monica business.

I had a friend/colleague in radio who always liked to talk about "the spaghetti theory." By that he meant: you throw a plate of spaghetti up against the wall, and see what sticks."
