Durbin, Kennedy, Kerry, Lautenberg and Reid sign Gannongate letter to Bush
Edited on Fri Feb-25-05 02:22 AM by marcologico

Durbin letter slated to be delivered to President Bush Friday morning

Five senatorial offices–-Durbin, Kennedy, Kerry, Lautenberg and Reid–-have said publicly that they had or will sign the letter to President Bush, which demands a full and transparent investigation into how a conservative correspondent allegedly got access to classified information and the president.

4. Durbin is amazing! I wish he would run again.
We need that gutsy "energy" fighting for us.

Proud of Kerry too!

8. If he doesn't run for POTUS or V-POTUS in 2008, I'm sure he will.
He's enormously popular here in Illinois.

9. Great news!
Now, I wish that all of the people would have a 'sit down' in front of FOXNEWS (for starters) and demand truly balanced reporting!!:bounce:

My repug sister and bro just rented F 911!! This is good news!!

They are young, pro-active and involved in local politics.

Some of the 'old fashioned' repugs are starting to wake up!!

10. Seeing that the Congress is in recess
& most members are home in their districts battling to save Social Security, it would have made more sense to wait until they're back in Washington.

11. Yeah I wondered about that. Maybe the idea is to get it done
in time for the Sunday talk shows. Also Bush will have to deal with it before it gets pushed off the table by his European road show.
