Just Saw Virginia Governor Mark Warner on Hardball, and
I didn't like what I saw. The guy just doesn't have any of "it" at all. He came across as a small thinker to me. When asked how does a Democrat get elected as Governor of a basically Republican State (Bush won by 10 pts.) he replied, that in Virginia "anyway", it is the Democrats who are running the state in a fiscal responsible manner. You just need to get Independents and Republicans to vote for you too (Doh!). Then he went on to brag about how Virginia just was named "Best Managed State" in the Union (I didn't catch what Organization gave out the award).

Although I only caught the tail end of the interview, in where Chris made sure to mention Hillary as the 800 lb. gorilla in the room, my opinion for Warner did not grow, and it actually shrank.

The problem that I had with his answer was that when he had a perfect opportunity, on national television, to in some way allude to the fact that Bush is running our country into the ground, fiscally, he didn't.

Maybe it's me. Did anyone else catch this interview?
